There’s a train and I don’t wanna miss it.
Was feeling utterly disjointed and depressed just now. Clearly, I felt that I should storm out of the house to “breathe new air”. Till Sarah Afiqa texted me which followed my a phone call soon after.
The thing that swept me off my feet was when she blatantly lied to me telling me she’s taking a break when clearly she’s stressing and working ever so haphazardly to complete her assignments.
As I’m typing this, she’s still on the phone with me after a record 6 hours plus, still frantically and industriously drawing.

Sarah : Eh, I need to do self portrait uh ( with deep, accentuated sighing)
Sarah: (Almost immediately) But never mind, I can just draw a picture of myself.
Me : -.-“
Sarah: Eh wait, doing a self portrait means drawing myself right?
Laughter like this often makes my cheeks moist of elation that set afree the dark troubles that are threatening to engulf me for good.
